We've always loved traveling, but things were put on pause due to the pandemic. Now we're rethinking our choices and playing catch-up with life.
Welcome to our site. We're glad you stopped by to check it out! This is meant to be a place for us to collect our thoughts and document our adventures. We hope to be able to look back one day with fond memories. Added bonus if we happen to make a few friends along the way!

It all started with Margaret's Instagram feed. She had been feeling a bit restless for the past few months and came across some posts about people quitting their jobs to become digital nomads. Before we get too hasty, some clarifications need to be made. There's no need for Margaret to quit her day job because she has flexible hours and can set her own schedule as needed. There are certain requirements, but that can be worked around...or she can eventually just quit too. #healthcarelife
She decided she needed a travel buddy and who could be better suited for that role other than her own beloved sister? Enter Katerina.
Convincing Katerina
Fortunately it didn't take much convincing. Margaret floated the idea of traveling around Asia for a month-ish to Katerina. Katerina had been thinking about making some changes to her life (including possibly finding a new job). She decided that if she were to travel, she would just quit her job. There might not be any paychecks coming in, but there's also no job responsibilities and no one to answer to. Margaret started looking up possible destinations and plane tickets.
After a few days of talking about the notion of going on an extended trip, the two sisters sat down and booked a one-way ticket out of the United States. #firstinternationaltrip since 2019. For the next few months, we'll be trying to save up enough $$$ to make our way around Asia and trying to plan what sights to do as well as what activities to do.
We're super excited about this and want to see where this will take us. We're fully expecting a handful of sister fights along the way (probably from Margaret stealing Katerina's clothes), maybe some things to go awry, but 100% certain that we'll make unforgettable memories.
